As I Start My Day
Creating God, open to me light for my darkness, courage for my fear, hope for my despair.
Loving God, open to me wisdom for my confusion, forgiveness for my failings, love for my hate.
Spirit of Peace, open to me peace for my turmoil, joy for my sorrow, strength for my weakness.
Generous God, open my heart to receive the gifts of your Spirit, Amen.

As I Travel Through My Day
Holy and loving God, during this season of Advent, help me to center my thoughts to the coming of your Son, Jesus. Guide my words and actions today to be your example of truth and justice to lift up and not tear down. May your Spirit carry me though each and every day, Amen.

God of peace, As the night falls, I surrender all my worries to you. Thank you for getting me through this day with its ups and downs, joys and struggles. Give my heart rest, my mind peace, and my soul a deep trust in your love.
Cover me and my loved ones with your protection tonight. Speak to me even in my dreams, reminding me that you are with me always. Amen.
